Senior Learning & Development Specialist

We are looking for an L&D Specialist with strong instructional design expertise and hands-on learning operations experience to design, deliver, and run impactful learning programmes for our GDC clients and internal teams. 


In this role, you will work closely with the Senior L&D Partner to translate training needs into structured learning journeys — managing the LMS, facilitating sessions, and owning specific programmes end to end. You will not just support; you will lead. This position requires a strong combination of instructional design skills, L&D operations capability, and a genuine interest in AI-augmented learning. You should be equally comfortable in a workshop room and a spreadsheet, and motivated by working in a fast-moving, culture-first environment. 



Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design and Content

  • Build instructional content using frameworks such as ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy across digital and in-person formats

  • Design and deliver learning programmes for GCC cohorts - onboarding, functional skills, and targeted capability tracks

  • Translate training needs analysis inputs from the Senior L&D Partner into structured, ready-to-deliver learning journeys

  • Develop assessments, workbooks, facilitator guides, and job aids that reinforce learning


L&D Operations
  • Manage day-to-day LMS operations - content uploads, learner enrolments, completion tracking, and reporting

  • Maintain programme calendars, attendance records, and feedback data

  • Run compliance training programmes including Information Security, data privacy and Code of Conduct

  • Track learning metrics and prepare reports for the Senior L&D Partner and stakeholders


AI in L&D
  • Use AI tools including to generate content, personalise learning pathways, and reduce manual build time

  • Explore and test emerging AI-augmented tools for content creation and learner engagement, developing learning pedagogy

  • Support the team in building comfort with AI-assisted learning practices


Facilitation and Coordination
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and cohort-based programmes across functions and levels

  • Coordinate logistics for learning events - scheduling, communication, materials, and follow-up

  • Support talent acquisition through structured interview frameworks and competency evaluation

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, or a Talent function.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering blended or cohort-based programmes.

  • Hands-on LMS administration and reporting experience.

  • Confidence using AI tools for content creation or learning delivery.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills — written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Deep knowledge of:

    • Instructional design methodologies — ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Model.

    • LMS platforms — administration, reporting, and learner management

    • Compliance training frameworks — Information Security, Data Privacy, Code of Conduct.

  • Strong experience with:

    • Content development tools and rapid authoring platforms.

    • Learning analytics and data-driven programme improvement.

    • AI tools for L&D content generation and pathway personalisation.

    • Exposure to GDC, BPO, or consulting environments is advantageous.

  • Experience working in Agile or fast-paced delivery environments.

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities. 


Preferred Skills

  • Certification in L&D — ATD, CIPD, or equivalent

  • Experience with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Rise.

  • Exposure to psychometric tools — DISC, Hogan, or 16PF.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise tech platforms.

  • Ability to design scalable, blended learning programmes for global or distributed teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills in client-facing environments.

  • Excellent documentation and presentation abilities

  • Prior experience in a start-up or high-growth consulting environment.

  • Self-driven, with the ability to lead learning conversations and influence programme direction.
