Quick Summary
Śrī, to us, is about belonging. The name comes from our Sanskrit heritage, where true wealth was never measured only in money, but in knowledge, well-being, and shared prosperity — built on one belief: Education + Enablement + Environment = Empowerment. None of it was about recognition. It was simply people, together, choosing to do good.
Key Takeaways
- Giving back is never one-directional: it reshapes the giver as much as the receiver, and that's what turns a relationship from transactional into genuinely human.
- Values become culture when people live them without being asked.
- Belonging at BOT was never built through policies or programs - it grew out of people quietly choosing, day after day, to show up for one another.
Śrī, to us, is about belonging.
It's where BOT becomes what we always say we are: one team, one culture. A place where people don't just come to work - they feel at home. Where titles matter less than purpose, and where a senior leader and a first-week joiner can stand side by side, working toward the same thing.
At BOT, we often talk about three things: People, Platform, and Proof. Śrī is where all three come together - our people, given a platform to create impact, becoming the clearest proof of who we are.
We see it every day: people stepping in before anyone asks. Supporting a teammate through a difficult week. Staying back to help. Looking after others simply because it's the right thing to do. It's never assigned, and it's never for show. It's just who our people are.
A Value We Live, Not Just Talk About
At BOT, one of our core values is being Socially Responsible. It's easy to put a value on a wall. Śrī is how we bring that value to life.

Education + Enablement + Environment = Empowerment
How We Show Up
Śrī is not defined by a campaign or a calendar. It's defined by people choosing to show up - for one another, for our communities, and for causes that matter.
Together, we donated 31 units of blood - with the potential to save up to 93 lives. We spent time with the children we support, bringing education, encouragement, and opportunity. We stood alongside women artisans, supporting both their craft and their livelihoods.
On International Women's Day, we came together for Sip & Paint - creativity, honest conversation, and time with inspiring women leaders. The artwork was auctioned afterwards, raising $1.4K that funded education materials for underprivileged children, an inverter for an NGO, and a child's ear surgery.
We also came together for mental health, raising $6.5K for organisations working in awareness and addiction recovery - giving young people and families a real chance at healing.
We planted trees and brought 200+ indoor plants into the office - a small daily reminder of responsibility growing right beside our desks - and installed 30 bird feeders across our campus. Even our merch is chosen with intent: every T-shirt we order plants a tree in the Sundarbans, over 748 so far.
None of it was about recognition. It was simply people, together, choosing to do good.
What Giving Does to a Team
One thing we've learned is that giving changes the giver as much as the receiver.
When our partners and customers join us in these initiatives - whether spending time with women artisans or assembling educational kits for children during our annual summit - relationships deepen in a different way. They stop feeling transactional and start feeling human.
Belonging isn't built only in meetings, town halls, or project reviews. It's built in shared experiences and shared purpose. That's what transforms a workplace into a community.
Śrī has taught me that giving back isn't a checkbox - it's a habit, one this workplace genuinely lives by, whether it's caring for kids at the orphanage, honoring the women of Lioness Tiles, or the quiet warmth of feeding birds and squirrels on campus. - Rajat Khatri
Life has taught me that small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact. I believe in paying it forward and fostering a culture of giving back. - Mohd Fareedul Haque
What makes Śrī special to me is its culture of giving back. The values of generosity, empathy, and making a positive impact truly resonate with me, and I am grateful to be part of a community that lives them every day." - Nishant Khandal
Being part of Śrī has been truly inspiring. It reflects a culture where giving back is a way of life, proving that even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. - Chahat Faujdar
Every Śrī initiative fills my heart with the simple joy of giving without expecting anything back. It takes me back to being a child who plays fully, no matter the outcome. Śrī is my happy place. - Medha Chaturvedi

When People Choose to Stay
The moments people remember are rarely the ones we plan for them.
They remember the day they gave blood alongside a colleague they'd only ever met on a call. They remember standing at Lioness Tile, talking to an artisan about her craft, and feeling - for the first time in a while - that their work connected to something larger. They remember the afternoon their child ran into the office and was welcomed like they belonged there too.
These aren't moments we scheduled into a calendar or measured on a feedback form. They happened because we chose to build a workplace where the whole person shows up - not just the professional version we present on Monday morning.
We spend so much energy designing the right frameworks, building the right benefits stack, and getting the exit interview process right. And those things matter. But they're not what people remember. They don't remember the policy. They remember the feeling - the moment a room full of colleagues became, without warning, something that felt like family.
Belonging isn't a programme. It's a feeling. And you can't manufacture it - you can only create the conditions for it. That's the harder work, the quieter work, the kind that doesn't show up in a slide deck but shows up in the way people talk about where they work when no one's listening.
That's what Śrī is, for us. It wasn't designed as a strategy initiative. It didn't start with an ROI calculation. It started with a belief that people do their best work when they feel whole - when their work has meaning beyond their output, and when their colleagues feel like people and not just project dependencies. Śrī grew out of that belief, and it shows up in ways that don't always make it into a quarterly report.
But here's what we know: the metric that matters most isn't a number. It's the conversation that didn't need to happen - because someone was quietly weighing their options and decided they weren't ready to give this up.
That is what Śrī does for our people. And that is the metric that matters most.
Where We Go From Here
Śrī isn't a programme with a finish line. It's part of who we are.
As BOT grows, we hope Śrī grows with it - not just through bigger initiatives, but through everyday choices. Through people helping one another, giving back to their communities, and remembering that success is most meaningful when it's shared.
Our hope is simple: that every BOTian, and every partner who works alongside us, leaves a little of themselves in this journey and takes a little of it home.
To everyone who has shown up, supported a cause, volunteered their time, or simply cared for someone else - thank you. You haven't just given back. You've helped build the culture we are proud to call BOT.
